Energy ministry: anthracite stocks at TPPs in Ukraine could fall by 63% by May 1
Ukraine's Energy and Coal Industry Ministry predicts that as of May 1, 2017 anthracite coal stocks will be 182,600 tonnes, which is 63% down than as of March 29, 2017 (494,100 tonnes).
According to the document posted on its website, gas coal stocks as of May 1, 2017 would total 1.321 million tonnes, which is 0.2% more than as of March 29, 2017 (1.318 million tonnes).
In general, the reduction of coal stocks at Ukrainian thermal power plants (TPPs) would be 17.1% (309,000 tonnes), to 1.503 million tonnes.
