Decision of High Court in London does not take into account Russia's military and economic aggression
Ukraine respects the decision of the High Court in London on the quick hearing of Russia's lawsuit against Ukraine on the $3 billion eurobond debt, but believes that it does not take into account Russia's economic and military aggression against the country, Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk has said.
"We have received the decision of the High Court in London on the so-called 'Russian debt,' which does not recognize Ukraine's positions and arguments in the lawsuit. We respect this decision, but we have grounds to believe that this decision does not take into account the unbiased facts of economic and military aggression against Ukraine and its people, which Russia has been committing since 2014," the finance minister said at a briefing after the government meeting on Wednesday.
