KAMAZ creates subsidiary for sales in Ukraine

OSJC KAMAZ has created a subsidiary in Ukraine – KAMAZ Trade Company, which is to be the official importer of the company's products, reads a company report.

"KAMAZ has introduced a new scheme for the supply of its products to Ukraine – through an official importer. The new system would allow the Russian company to quickly deliver modern trucks and other vehicles at affordable prices to Ukrainian companies," reads the release.

A warehouse, at which most KAMAZ trucks being sold would be stored, is to be established in Ukraine. Apart from supplies, the company plans to quickly settle servicing issues.

"The KAMAZ fleet in Ukraine is over 75,000 vehicles. This fact prompts the Russian company to form and develop a dealer and service chain. At present, it includes nine entities, the largest of which have a developed chain of regional warehouses and branches. The total number of branches exceeds 200," reads the report.

OSJC KAMAZ is the parent company of a group that produces trucks. In 2008, the company sold 47,500 trucks, in 2009 around 26,000 trucks, while in 2010 it plans to sell 34,000 vehicles.
