Naftogaz Ukrainy has dismissed Ihor Prokopiv from the post of president of PJSC Ukrtransgaz.
"The Naftogaz board in agreement with the supervisory council voted for the dismissal of Ukrtransgaz President Ihor Prokopiv," the state holding said on Friday evening.
According to its data, Naftogaz is now seeking candidates and plans in the near future to hold a tender for the post of Ukrtransgaz president.
Ukrtransgaz First Vice President Myroslav Khymko has been appointed acting head of the company.
Prokopiv has been president of Ukrtransgaz since August 2014.
