Memo with IMF has provision for farmland turnover, no requirement for retirement age increase – Groysman

Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said that the text of the memorandum with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) does not contain requirement to raise the retirement age, but has a demand for the introducing turnover of agricultural land.

"There are two issues that are very important: the reform of the pension system – I talked about it, but the pension age was not discussed, and the second item concerns the turnover of land. We have an obligation to launch land turnover," the prime minister told journalists during a working visit to Vinnytsia on Tuesday.

Groysman noted that farmland turnover should be carried out in the interests of Ukraine and Ukrainians and after consultations with the public.
