Ukrgazvydobuvannia reaches daily gas production of 42 mcm
Public joint-stock company Ukrgazvydobuvannia on March 4, 2017 reached daily gas production of 42 million cubic meters (mcm), according to tentative data from public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz.
If on March 1, 2017, the company produced 41.131 mcm of gas, on March 2 – 41.088 mcm, March 3 – 41.577 mcm, the company produced 42.006 mcm on March 4.
The press service of Ukrgazvydobuvannia said that growth of gas production in the short period of time was thanks to the introduction of new 5,500 meter well in Kharkiv region with the production rate pf 1 mcm a day.
"The company is moving to the 20/20 goal. Development of new and existing fields is the key of the strategy for boosting production of Ukrgazvydobuvannia. Securing energy independence for the company is a top priority," Ukrgazvydobuvannia Board Chairman Oleh Prokhorenko said.
Since June 2016, Ukrtransgaz started publishing daily information for gas production. Ukrgazvydobuvannia's production grew from 39.2 mcm to 42 mcm a day.
The reached production volume allows meeting the 2017 target to increase gas production to 15-15.2 billion cubic meters (bcm).
