NBU denies information about resignation of NBU head Gontareva
The press service of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has denied information about the resignation of NBU Governor Valeriya Gontareva, the press service said on Monday.
"As you know, the NBU traditionally informs the changes in the board a month before they happen. This report was not published. This means that information [about the resignation] is untrue," the press service said.
Now all NBU board members are working in line with their schedules, the press service said.
As reported, last week some media reported that allegedly Gontareva decided to resign and the Ukrainian president is ready to accept her resignation.
