Naftogaz cuts gas price for industrial consumers by 7% for March
Naftogaz Ukrainy from March 1, 2017 will reduce the price of gas supplied to industrial customers on a prepayment basis by 7.2% (by UAH 661.2), to UAH 8,554 per 1,000 cubic meters (including VAT).
According to a company press release, the said price is relevant for consumers buying gas in the amount of more than 50,000 cubic meters per month if there are no debts to Naftogaz.
The price for other customers next month will decrease by 6.9% (UAH 702), to UAH 9,439 per 1,000 cubic meters (including VAT).
As reported, Ukraine from October 1, 2015 cancelled state regulation of gas prices for all categories of consumers, except for the population and heating companies for public needs. Since that time Naftogaz has been supplying gas to industrial consumers, budgetary organizations and other economic entities under market conditions.
