Ukrspyrt not to increase price of spirit early March
State-run enterprise Ukrspyrt has decided not to increase the price of spirit from March 1, 2017.
The enterprise said on its website on Tuesday that it was decided not to increase the price pursuant to the order of Ukraine's Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry made after a working meeting held on January 27, 2017.
As reported, early 2016 Ukrspyrt reported about the two-stage increase in the prices of spirit in 2017: from January by 10.6% and from March – by 8%, explaining it by the economic situation.
Later Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Taras Kutoviy recommended the enterprise to annul the additional increase of the prices of spirit, as it could affect the liquor and vodka sector.
