Ukrenergo sees net profit rise by 3.7 times in 2016
Ukrenergo in 2016 saw net profit rise by 3.7 times (by UAH 2.192 billion), to UAH 3.012 billion compared to 2015, the company said on its website.
Its net income in the reporting period increased by 32% (by UAH 1.74 billion), to UAH 7.174 billion, while gross profit rose by 43.1% (by UAH 1.503 billion), to UAH 4.989 billion.
As reported, Ukrenergo operates the trunk and interstate power grids, as well as carries out the centralized dispatching of the country's united energy system. The company is state-owned and managed by the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry.
