Ukrgazvydobuvannia doubles tax payments in 2016

PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia in 2016 almost doubled tax payments to the budgets of all levels (by UAH 19 billion) compared with 2015, to UAH 39 billion.

According to its data, total payments included royalties, excise tax, VAT, personal income tax, income tax, environmental tax, and local taxes and fees.

According to Ukrgazvydobuvannia CFO Yuriy Rubish, UAH 38.46 billion was transferred to the general national budget, the budgets of local levels got UAH 476 million.

The press service noted the company for the second year in a row retains primacy in tax payment in the country. According to preliminary estimates, in 2017 the amount of payments could rise to almost UAH 50 billion.

As reported, Ukrgazvydobuvannia in 2016 increased gas production by 0.5% compared with 2015, to 14.605 billion cubic meters, in particular the sale of produced gas for its further sale to the population increased by 1.4%, to 13.002 billion cubic meters. In 2017 the company expects to achieve gas production in the amount of 15 billion cubic meters, increasing it by 400-600 million cubic meters.
