Statistics service preliminary assesses Ukraine's GDP growth at 4.5-4.8% in Q4 2016
Growth of Ukraine's GDP in Q4 2016 year-over-year accelerated to 4.5-4.8% compared to 2% in Q3 2016, Head of the State Statistics Service Ihor Verner has said, presenting the tentative assessment of GDP growth.
"Now we can say that GDP growth accelerated in the fourth quarter, taking into account data from various sectors: approximate growth of GDP compared to the fourth quarter of 2015 could be from 4.5% to 4.8%," he said at a government meeting in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Verner said that the statistics agency will publish tentative GDP assessment for Q4 2016 next week.
