Finance minister expects decision of London court on debt dispute with Russia to be in mid-April
Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk is waiting for the decision of the court of London involving a debt dispute with the Russian Federation in mid-April.
"Two weeks ago there were hearings in London, which lasted three days [...] Now the judge is preparing a decision. The solution may take some time. As we expect - until mid-April. But it may happen earlier or later," he said during a press conference on the results of the Ministry of Finance in 2016 and plans for 2017 in Kyiv on Monday.
Danyliuk expressed confidence that this decision will be in favor of Ukraine, adding that communications for either of the parties are not forthcoming.
