JKX cuts average daily production in Ukraine by 7.5% in 2016
JKX Oil & Gas Plc in 2016 reduced its average daily hydrocarbon production in Ukraine by 7.5%, to 4,001 boepd (barrels of oil equivalent per day), the press service of the company has said.
At the same time, JKX overall production last year increased by 12.1%, to 10,083 boepd, in particular the company's assets in Russia showed an increase in daily production by 30.2%, to 6,082 boepd.
The company said in December 2016 compared with the previous month the average daily hydrocarbon production in Ukraine decreased by 6.2%, to 3,840 boepd.
JKX overall production last month rose by 2.1%, to 9,954 boepd, in particular the Russian assets of the company raised daily production by 8.2%, to 6,114 boepd.
"In Ukraine the gas production volume was affected by availability of hydrates in the flowout lines due to cold weather," JKX said.
