EC will issue EUR3 mln to Ukraine to bring certification of Ukrainian aviation goods in compliance with EU norms
The State Aviation Service of Ukraine has signed an agreement with the European Commission (EC) under which Ukraine undertakes to bring the system of certification of Ukrainian aviation industry products in compliance with European standards, for which the EC will issue EUR3 million.
"We want all of our certification standards to meet EU norms. The agreement provides for the implementation of these objectives within five years. We are likely to finish faster," Deputy Infrastructure Minister for European Integration Viktor Dovhan told reporters.
According to him, the signing of this agreement will result in the EU's recognizing Ukrainian certificates, first of all, for the produce of Antonov, as well as other enterprises.
