National budget for 2017 earmarks some UAH 40 mln to buy equipment for fish patrol in eight regions of Ukraine
Some UAH 40 million is foreseen in the national budget for 2017 to buy new equipment for fish patrol, Ukraine's State Fish Agency has reported.
The State Fish Agency will be able to start buying boats, vehicles and drones for the regions where the tender to select fish patrol officers has been announced (Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv, Rivne, Ternopil, Odesa and Kharkiv regions and the Black Sea basin department).
The agency hoped that UAH 140 million will be provided to equip 26 territorial fish patrol departments.
The agency continues actively working to achieve the provision of UAH 100 million more to buy equipment and launch fish patrol in all regions.
