PrivatBank had UAH 7.5 bln in cash late on Friday, information about non-performing cards is provocation
First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Economic Development and Trade Minister Stepan Kybiv has said that PrivatBank (Dnipro) late on Friday, December 16, had UAH 7.5 billion in cash, and information about allegedly non-performing cards is provocation.
"One cannot seek the limelight speculating with the issue. Cards of individuals are performing not only at Privat, but at other banks where the bank had correspondent accounts," he said at a joint press conference with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice President Federica Mogherini on Monday in Brussels.
He said that the bank had UAH 7.5 billion in cash late on Friday and it is enough for three days.
