Competition agency: fine from Gazprom could be collected abroad
Ukraine's Antimonopoly Committee has said that a fine of UAH 172 billion could be collected from Russia's Gazprom abroad.
"If the decision of Kyiv's business court is left by the appeal court without changes [or the counterclaim is not submitted] and Gazprom does not pay the fine and penalty on a voluntarily basis, the committee will submit an application asking to enforce the ruling to the State Enforcement Service that enforces the court rulings on the territory of Ukraine. The company is mulling other possible options, including with the enforcement of the ruling abroad," the committee said in a press release.
