Energy regulator intends to cut electricity tariffs for industrial consumers in 2017
The National Commission for State Regulation of Energy, Housing and Utilities Services (NCER) intends to cut electricity tariffs for industrial consumers in 2017, Commission Head Dmytro Vovk has said.
"The commission will cut the tariffs for the first and second [electricity consumption] class from January 1," he said at a roundtable devoted to electricity supplies, reaching the balance between the price and quality held on Tuesday.
He added that the commission would be able to find the resource thanks to the decisions to decrease cross subsiding that were made earlier.
