VUSO insurer simplifies ownership structure
More than 50% of the shares in VUSO insurance company (Kyiv) belong to a group of private investors, whose interests in the supervisory council are presented by Mykhailo Nazarchuk, the founder of INNEX Stock Exchange, according to a press release from the insurance company.
The owners of the remaining shares are the company's top managers.
"The managers of the company are managing partners. They are independent in making decisions, except those within the competence of shareholders' meetings," the press service said.
The company said its ownership structure became transparent in accordance with the recommendations of the financial markets regulator. Previously the same persons owned the company by means of participation in the capital of several legal entities. Now the ultimate beneficiaries are shown in the register of shareholders.
VUSO insurance company, registered in 2001, specializes in risk types of insurance. Its regional network includes more than 50 representative offices and branches located in all regional centers and most of the largest cities of Ukraine.
The charter capital of the insurer is UAH 60 million.
