Ukroboronprom obtains approval for corporatization of Antonov, 410 Civil Aviation Plant from economy ministry
Implementing the defense industry reform Ukroboronprom State Concern has started preparing for corporatization of its enterprises.
The press service of the concern reported that plans and corporatization schedules of the first five Ukroboronprom member enterprises, including Antonov State Enterprise and 410 Civil Aviation Plant (both based in Kyiv), have been approved by the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine.
Chuhuyiv Aircraft Repair Plant (Kharkiv region), General Aviation Design Bureau (Kyiv region) and Karpaty production association (Ivano-Frankivsk) are among the first five enterprises, the press service said.
According to Interfax-Ukraine's sources in the defense sector, according to decree of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry dated November 18, corporatization of Antonov and 410 Civil Aviation Plant is to start in two weeks after obtaining the approval of the decision to restructure them from Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers. Corporatization of the rest three enterprises will be started in February 2017.
