SPF fails to approve purchase of Ukrtelecom's mobile communications subsidiary for Vodafone Ukraine
Vodafone Ukraine mobile operator (PrJSC MTS Ukraine) has revoked its application to receive a permit to buy subsidiary of public joint-stock company Ukrtelecom – TriMob LLC - from Ukraine's Antimonopoly Committee.
The press service of Vodafone Ukraine told Interfax-Ukraine that the decision was made due to the fact that the deal was not approved by Ukraine's State Property Fund.
"The company has decided to recall the application. If the situation changes, we are ready to submit it again," the press service said.
As reported, the Antimonopoly Committee started hearing the case in March 2016.
