Some UAH 7 bln saved due to ProZorro – First deputy economic development and trade minister

Some UAH seven billion was managed to save due to the public e-procurement ProZorro, First Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister Maksym Nefyodov has said.

"Starting from August 1, all relatively large government purchases from UAH 200,000 should be carried out through ProZorro. Ukraine is one of the few countries in the world, which turned its public procurement to online mode, where every citizen, being at home at the PC can verify what Ukravtodor, the Mayor's Office or the Defense Ministry purchase," he said on the Inter TV channel on Sunday.

According to him, economy cut from ProZorro is 13% of the contracts and has already exceeded UAH seven billion.
