Ukraine should play decisive role as transit country for Russian gas after 2019
Ukraine should play a decisive role as a transit country for Russian gas exported to the European Union after 2019, European Commission Vice President Maros Sefcovic has stated.
He said building the Energy Union is the project that also applies to our neighbors. Russia is a particularly important neighbor of the European Union. The Energy Union brings us closer together. The situation is similar with Ukraine: we believe that after 2019 Ukraine should play a decisive role as a transit country for Russian gas exported to the European Union, he added.
