Naftogaz buys gas in Europe at average price of $187 per 1,000 cubic meters in Q3 2016

Naftogaz Ukrainy in the third quarter of 2016 imported natural gas to Ukraine at average price of $187 per 1,000 cubic meters compared with $191 and $266 per 1,000 cubic meters respectively in the first quarter of 2016 and the fourth quarter of 2015.

Naftogaz said on Tuesday that taking into account the gas transportation fee, average price was $194 per 1,000 cubic meters, while in the previous quarters it was $198 and $228 respectively.

The holding said that in July-September 2016 it managed to gradually reduce the purchase price. In July it was $220 per 1,000 cubic meters, in August it was $200 and in September $178, while taking into account the gas transportation fee, it was $227, $207 and $185 respectively.
