Ukraine may soon replace its representative at IMF
Ukraine may soon replace its representative in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Oleksandr Petryk in connection with his reaching the retirement age, according to the comment of the press service of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
"Ukraine's representative at the IMF Petryk has reached the retirement age. So now we are searching for a worthy candidate to replace him. We are grateful to Petryk for his good work and hope that the new candidate will continue his undertakings," the report says.
In line with the established procedure, the National Bank of Ukraine has already filed its candidate for Ukraine's representative at the IMF, but has not disclosed his name yet.
As reported, before becoming Ukraine's envoy to the IMF in 2013, Petryk worked as director general of the NBU economic department.
