Participants of rally for NBU’s head resignation block Instytutska Street in Kyiv

The rally under the banners of the Za Zhyttia party (For Life), headed by Vadym Rabynovych, is being held at the building of the National Bank of Ukraine in Kyiv on Monday.

About 300 people gathered at the National Bank of Ukraine with a demand to dismiss the head of the establishment Valeriya Gontareva and reduce the rate of the dollar and the euro up to UAH 8 and 11 respectively (at the level of 2013).

Protesters occupied the traffic area near Instytutska Street outside the NBU’s walls, as well as the pedestrian zone. Leader of the For Life party from Opposition Bloc faction, an MP Vadym Rabynovych is speaking in front of the audience.

Across the area of the venue, there are young people who are watching the protesters so that they won’t leave the area.
