Ukraine imports 13.1 mln tonnes of coal for $1.2 bln in nine months

Ukraine in January-October 2016 imported coal and anthracite (foreign activity code 2701) worth $1.17 billion, in particular in October for $129.084 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, Russia supplied coal for $742.938 million, the United States for $168.547 million, Australia for $73.348 million, other countries for $184.879 million.

The total volume of coal delivered to the country for the first ten months of this year amounted to 13.104 million tonnes.

Ukraine in January-October 2016 exported 458,140 tonnes of coal and anthracite for $37.985 million, in particular to Slovakia for $21.895 million, Russia for $7.484 million, Turkey for $4.765.889 million, other countries for $2.725 million.
