Groysman: Subsidies formalized for 6.4 mln Ukrainian households
Housing subsidies have been formalized for 6.4 million Ukrainian households, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has said.
"Housing subsidies have been assigned to 6.4 million families," he said during at a telephone conference on the implementation of the housing subsidies program in Kyiv.
The premier said the leaders in terms of subsidy assignment are Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Volyn regions. Poor performance is in Odesa and Zakarpattia regions.
Vice Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko said last week the social welfare department received about 97,000 applications for obtaining subsidies.
