Ukrainian, Romanian foreign ministers discuss infrastructure development of state border
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin in a one-day working visit to Romania has discussed with his counterpart the bilateral cooperation, in particular, infrastructure development of Ukrainian-Romanian state border.
"During the visit Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin met his Romanian counterpart Lazar Comanescu. During this meeting they discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular, aspects of cross-border and regional cooperation, infrastructure development of Ukrainian-Romanian state border and the problems of national minorities, as well as the further support of European integration efforts of Ukraine by Romania," the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said after the meeting on Saturday.
In addition, Klimkin took part in the opening ceremony of Taras Shevchenko’s bust in the city of Sighetu Marmatiei of Maramures county, which was built at the expense of the Union of Ukrainians of Romania.
