Ukraine in ten days of heating season cuts gas reserves in UGS by 94 mcm
Ukraine since the beginning of the heating season that started on October 13 and as of October 22 had reduced natural gas reserves in its underground gas storage facilities (UGS) by 93.5 million cubic meters (mcm).
According to PJSC Ukrtransgaz, as of October 22 gas reserves in UGS were 14.639 billion cubic meters. In the first five days of the heating season (October 13-17) gas taking was minimum, on October 18 the figure was 5 million cubic meters, October 19-22 it ranges from 19.3 million cubic meters to 22.4 million cubic meters per day.
If Ukraine retains the daily gas taking as on October 19-22, in November it will have reserves of about 14.4-14.5 billion cubic meters.
