Stockholm Arbitration Institute finishes oral hearings in Naftogaz vs Gazprom's litigation over gas supply contract
The Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce finished oral hearings in the united case concerning mutual claims of national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy and Russia's public joint-stock company Gazprom over a contract to supply gas to Ukraine, the public relations department of Naftogaz Ukrainy has reported.
The department said that hearings were held from September 25 through October 11, 2016.
"During the oral hearings the parties presented reports on their legal positions, counter interrogation of witnesses and experts were held. It is expected that in November the parties will send a post-hearing brief to the tribunal," Naftogaz said.
The final decision of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce in the case over the gas contract is expected before March 31, 2017.
Oral hearings on the gas transit contract would start in Stockholm late November 2016.
