Ukraine, Turkey establish cooperation in creating radio detection means
Ukraine and Turkey will cooperate in creation of electronic intelligence means.
According to an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent, Ukrinmash state firm and Turkish Havelsan signed an agreement on the joint development of a passive radar station at the thirteen International Specialized Exhibition Arms and Security 2016 in Kyiv on October 11.
According to the Ukrainian side, the new radar station will not concede the Kolchuga radar well known in the world's market.
According to the agreement, Turkey will finance the work. The parties have not voiced commercial and other details of the agreement at this stage.
Ukrinmash is one of the leading Ukrainian special exporters. It has been operating in the international arms market since 1991. It has been part of Ukroboronprom state concern under the government's decision since 2010.
