Naftogaz, Kharkiv CHPP 5 agree on debt restructuring
PJSC Kharkiv combined heat and power plant (CHPP) 5 has agreed with Naftogaz Ukrainy to restructure the debt for the consumed gas and got the limit until the end of 2016, Deputy Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Yevhen Shakhnenko has said.
"The plant has restructured its debt to Naftogaz Ukrainy and today it has the limit until the end of the year. They are now working to ensure they'll have limits next year.
"Their debt is UAH 360 million. They signed an agreement for three years (until 2020)," Shakhnenko told reporters.
He also said that in case of emergencies the plant is provided with fuel oil (the reserves amount to 500 tonnes, which corresponds to the standards).
As reported, Kharkiv CHPP 5 in 2015 saw net loss fall by UAH 195.974 million compared to 2014, to UAH 83.88 million.
