Poroshenko dissatisfied with pace of wage legalization in Ukraine
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has expressed dissatisfaction with the process of wage legalization in the country.
"I can say I am not fully satisfied with the process of wage legalization. We've made a very difficult decision when we significantly reduced social security tax, planning that the savings businesses received by not paying extra taxes, would be fully paid to people," he said at a meeting of the Regional Development Council in Kyiv.
According to the president, now the increase in wages in most cases does not exceed the savings business owners receive by reducing wages.
"But the process is ongoing, and I am confident we'll achieve the result," he said.
