Cabinet approves plan of measures to prepare for Eurovision 2017 in Kyiv
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a plan of measures to prepare for the Eurovision 2017 international song contest to be held in Kyiv.
According to an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent, the government made the corresponding decision at a meeting on Tuesday.
First Deputy Minister of Culture Svitlana Fomenko noted the draft regulation was designed to perform the order to prepare for the contest.
Ukraine won the right to hold Eurovision 2017 after the victory of Ukrainian singer Jamala with the song "1944" at the contest in Stockholm. The contest will take place in Kyiv.
