Ukraine imports 11.7 mln tonnes of coal for $1 bln in nine months

Ukraine in January-September 2016 imported coal and anthracite (foreign activity code 2701) worth $1.039 billion, in particular in September for $133.663 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, Russia supplied coal for $674.18 million, the United States for $147.293 million, Australia for $69.103 million, other countries for $148.234 million.

The total volume of coal delivered to the country for the first nine months of this year amounted to 11.706 million tonnes.

Ukraine in January-September 2016 exported 416,820 tonnes of coal and anthracite for $34.539 million, in particular to Slovakia for $19.679 million, Russia for $7.484 million, Turkey for $4.769 million, other countries for $2.607 million.
