Poroshenko congratulates Luch Bureau on successful test of new weapon

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has congratulated the Kyiv-based government-run Luch Design Bureau on its successful test of the Sarmat new remote weapon system with anti-tank missiles.

"I congratulate Luch Bureau on its successful test of the Sarmat new remote weapon system with anti-tank missiles," he said on Facebook on Sunday.

The head of state said that Ukrainian Armed Forces are the main guarantee of the country's independence.
