The central bank said that banks' profit in August 2016 was UAH 2.7 billion.
Loss from trading operations decreased by UAH 1.8 billion and other operating income – by UAH 1.4 billion. Fee and commission income grew by UAH 900 million. A total of 78 banks out of 100 operating banks saw UAH 3.7 billion of profit in August and 22 banks saw a loss of UAH 1.1 billion.
