Ukraine imports 10.2 mln tonnes of coal for $902 mln in eight months

Ukraine in January-August 2016 imported coal and anthracite (foreign activity code 2701) worth $902.221 million, in particular in August for $104.331 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, Russia supplied coal for $594.937 million, the United States for $132.658 million, Australia for $49.461 million, other countries for $125.165 million.

The total volume of coal delivered to the country for the first eight months of this year amounted to 10.195 million tonnes.

Ukraine in January-August 2016 exported 379,470 tonnes of coal and anthracite for $31.589 million, in particular to Slovakia for $18.053 million, Russia for $7.137 million, Turkey for $3.807 million, other countries for $2.593 million.
