Groysman launches mobile groups to prevent and detect violations at customs
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has launched the interagency targeted center to prevent and detect violations of customs laws and 20 joint mobile groups to prevent and detect violations at customs.
Head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov and Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk attended the ceremony of the center and the mobile units.
"Today we start the work of the mobile teams that will detect contraband goods, which have not passed customs control," Groysman said, stressing the customs reform is urgently needed.
As reported, in June the Cabinet of Ministers decided to set up 20 mobile groups to combat smuggling.
The groups are composed of representatives of the National Police and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
