Ukraine launches online platform for reports to detect false data in officials' property declarations
The public lustration committee has launched an online platform for posting reports that will help reveal false information in the property declarations of officials.
"Citizens of Ukraine, public representatives, journalists will be able to control the accuracy of declarations to bring to justice those officials who do not declare their property or cannot explain its origin," head of the public lustration committee Oleksandr Dryk said when presenting the project in Kyiv.
According to him, any citizen, who wants to report on the facts that evidence the unreliability of data in officials' declarations, can fill in the form on the website.
Dryk noted the system is secure, he assured the data on the unreliability of information in officials' declarations sent by citizens won't get into the wrong hands.
