Some UAH 3 billion will be assigned for the restoration of Donbas infrastructure, Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"Regional State Administration Head Pavlo Zhebrivsky together with lawmakers have approved a separate program worth UAH 3 billion to rebuild Donbas infrastructure," the president said opening a kindergarten in the village of Manhush not far from Mariupol (Donetsk region) on Wednesday afternoon.
According to him, UAH 3 billion has been allocated, and tender procedures have been completed. The construction and reconstruction of four bridges in Donetsk region will start in September. "That's what people expect, that's a symbol of peace," the president added.
Poroshenko also said a new administrative services center will open in Mariupol on Wednesday.
