Naftogaz proposes that Ukrnafta refuse recovery of 2 bcm of gas from Ukrtransgaz
Naftogaz Ukrainy has proposed that PJSC Ukrnafta refuse the recovery of 2 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas produced in 2006-2012 from Ukrtransgaz, the press service of Ukrnafta has said.
According to its data, the appropriate provision is contained in Naftogaz proposals for the Ukrnafta shareholders' meeting scheduled for September 15.
"The main item on the agenda [of the meeting] is to initiate the process of financial recovery of Ukrnafta. However, according to Naftogaz Ukrainy's proposals, the question of introduction of a pre-trial reorganization procedure will be considered only if Ukrnafta terminates collecting natural gas extracted in 2006- 2012 or its value in the territory of Ukraine," the press service said.
Ukrnafta opposes the decision.
