Some 562 used imported cars pass customs clearance at low duties since Aug 1
Some 562 used imported passenger cars have passed customs clearance at low excise duties (the law on cutting excise duties on used cars took effect on August 1, 2016), the press service of the State Fiscal Service has reported, referring to its Head Roman Nasirov.
He said that the largest number of cars to which excise duty preferences apply, was recorded at Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk customs offices – 64 and 60 cars respectively.
According to Auto-Consulting information and analytical group, imports of used cars grew by several times starting the second week of August.
