Miners of state-owned coal enterprises have received UAH 200 million, transferred on August 10 to repay wage arrears, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry has reported.
The agency noted these funds had been allocated in accordance with the government resolution dated July 27, which reduced funding for the program of restructuring the coal industry by UAH 150 million and the construction of Novovolynska mine No. 10 by UAH 50 million.
The ministry explained the delay in money transfer with the need to agree such redistribution of budget expenditures with the budget committee and the Finance Ministry.
