Naftogaz Ukrainy ready for talks with European Commission, Gazprom

Naftogaz Ukrainy has backed the European Commission's idea to hold trilateral negotiations with Russia's Gazprom, the Naftogaz press service reported.

"Naftogaz confirms the readiness to resume trilateral negotiations with Gazprom in order to coordinate terms of buying Russian gas as proposed by European Commission Vice-President Maros Sefcovic yesterday," the report said.

It said Naftogaz would take part in a meeting of the kind in the near future and in a place convenient for all sides.
