Ukrainian, Finnish presidents meet to discuss situation in Donbas – Ukraine's presidential press service
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko met with his Finnish counterpart Sauli Niinisto in Warsaw during the NATO summit to discuss the situation in Donbas and the course of implementation of the Minsk agreements, the Ukrainian presidential press service said on Friday.
Niinisto noted that he advocates keeping the anti-Russian sanctions until the Minsk agreements are implemented in full.
Niinisto told Poroshenko about the results of his recent talks with the Russian president, it said.
The presidents of Ukraine and Finland also discussed the security situation in the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea areas.
