Coal stocks in the warehouses of thermal power plants (TPP) of Ukraine in the period from June 29 to July 4 decreased by 6.3%, from 1.289 million tonnes to 1.208 million tonnes.
According to Ukrenergo, in particular, anthracite coal stocks declined by 5.1%, to 317,700 tonnes (including 34,500 tonnes at Luhansk TPP), gas coal and long-flame coal stocks fell by 6.7%, to 890,000 tonnes (including 209,700 tonnes at Burshtyn TPP).
Ukrenergo said energy consumption in the morning of July 4 was 16.496 GW, while 34 coal power units and one fuel oil power units at the TPPs generated 6.644 GW. Nuclear power plants (NPPs) showed a capacity of 7.710 GW, hydroelectric power plants 1.119 GW, combined heat and power plants 871 MW and alternative energy units 152 MW.
Exports from the Burshtyn TPP energy island on July 3 stood at 165 MW. No exports to Poland, Belarus, Moldova and Russia were reported.
