Finance ministry: Ukrainian budget expenditure grows almost 25% in Jan-May
Expenditure of Ukraine's national budget grew by 23.6% in January through May 2016 year-over-year, and their paces more than tripled the pace of revenue growth (7%), the Finance Ministry has reported on its website.
According to the report, expenses of the national budget in January-May 2016 came to UAH 245.599 billion, while revenue totaled UAH 219.227 billion. The deficit of the national budget reached UAH 26.447 billion.
Budget revenue target for 2016 is UAH 601.839 billion, including UAH 569.486 billion for the general fund, and the expenses target is UAH 674.491 billion (UAH 640.263 billion for the general fund).
